To call Haechan a friend, you really need to have a lot of perseverance and inhuman patience, because there is no one besides the deities who can call him "friend". He’s very hard to break and even today many of his closer friends like Jeno, Seulbi and Jaemin have only seen the bare minimum of him. Haechan has grown a mistrust towards everyone and therefore it seems all the more unlikely that you can get close to Haechan. Rarely talks about himself and also in general he loses few words. Especially affection and attention can be crossed off the list. Haechans attitude is calm, almost mysterious, but there's a tornado raging inside of him that you'd rather not unleash. Yeonjun is someone who occasionally tests the boundaries with his sayings, but it's more the friendship between the two guys. Yeonjun knows the boundaries of Haechan and even he, with his big mouth, wouldn't do anything that could burst Haechan. Most of the time you can find him smoking alone, boxing, gaming with Jeno, letting Seulbi talk his ear off or listening to Jaemins new love songs that he can't identify with one percent. In the end, the boy only has a "well done" and a pat on the back ready, which means a lot in his world. Except for Yijoon. In him he has found not only a friend, more a brother. He tells Yijoon everything and gives value to what he says. With his behavior towards Yijoon, you can see that Haechan, as a friend, will only protect his loved ones and will always hold his head up for them. It's not uncommon to stop Haechan from beating someone up, because someone plays dumb with Seulbi for attention or thinks Jaemin is „childish" and trys to hurt him. Haechan is willing to let his fists do the talking, without any mercy. This is why you have to be careful if you have him as a friend or not. Actions speaks more than words ever could. If he gets hurt, he's not harmless like Jungkook and ignores the person, no; he leaves a pain forever, so you know what you did.
